July 28, Liard to Whitehorse

First time in the Yukon!

Started the day in 15 deg C and no clouds. Made it to Watson Lake to check out all the sign posts put up by people from around the world. Some wooden signs, some license plates and some random stuff. Ride was C=4, R=6, T=2, V=5.

Michel looking smooth.

Warkworth, NZ. I vow to visit this place.

Made our way to Whitehorse along some nice lakes. No construction yet as I was told be lots of people when you ride to Alaska. C=5, R=7, T=2, V=7.

Oh yeah, the further north I go the more bugs that hit my face.

Stayed at Beez Kneez in Whitehorse, which is good and comfortable. Free internet, good showers and comfy beds. It was Michel first time in a Backpacker and I think he enjoyed it. Went to Klondike Salmon and Rib (hostel owners restaurant), which was outstanding if you feel like spending some money. Nice to have a couple of Yukon beers. Caribou stew, yum.
